04 yz450 exaust gasket

hey, what is the easiest way to get the exaust pipe gasket (the tube one between the header and pipe) on? i destroyed 2 last night.....thanks YZ guru's!

I'll assume you are installing it on a stock midpipe/header combo? Don't try the seal on any other pipe unless it specifically calls for it.

Get a muffler shop to open up the end of the mid pipe *JUST A LITTLE*. Check the end of the header for a harsh corner and dress it up with a file if you need to. Slip the seal halfway on the header and slide the midpipe on, working the seal into place as you go, then line up the pipe and clamp it down.
