GYT-R Clutch Cover ?'s

Since rumor has it that Hinson makes the GYT-R inner clutch components for Yamaha, and the Hinson and GYT-R clutch cover look remarkably similar, would I be mistaken in assuming that they are, in fact, identical? Also, are the claims accurate that the cover increases volume and promotes better oil flow for longer clutch life, or are they simply marketing hype? Many thanks...SC

hey clark hows it going , when looking at the photos they dont look identical to me... but I am a pickey perfectionist... :applause:

Aside from the color and the logo on the outside, they look the same to me...What happenin' D? It's freakin' COLD here :applause: ...SC

the gyt-r stuff is supposed to help with oil flow,BUT i think you need to use all the gyt-r stuff(hub,etc) to appreciate the gain. i'm not for sure though :applause:

I've got all the Hinson internals ready to go in, I was just curious about the GYT-R cover as it is about half the cost of a Hinson cover :applause: ...SC

its 8 degrees here this mornin...the bottom of the cover has a slight design diferrence to me anyway...they are real close though... :applause:
