06 450 Maintainance

Any one changed the oil in their bike yet? If so which filter did you use? Is the 06 the same as 05/04 450. Its raining here is Cali and the hills are going to be sweet so I need to do my maintainance this week, dalm it I wrench on cars all day but my bikes soothe me

according to the nice person i talked to at scotts, the oil filters are the same. I've also read that the air filters are the same as previous YZF's - which is great since i have 8 or 9 of them :applause:

I sure hope so as I have just blind ordered Excels with Talon hubs for my coming bike...

BLUE please say you are not using ecw's!I have been waiting four months
for a set of wheels!Ive got got a set coming for my new SE as well. :applause:

ecw's - sorry I don't understand? My set comes from Germany at half the price they cost here in Finland.

Twin Air has the same part numbers for 03-06 on the oil and air filter.

BLUE Sorry thought you were in th US!ecw is east coast wheels,it doesnt matter
since you got them germany :applause: anyway!
