I keep reading how happy folks are when they remove stock XR650R fork oil and fill with 10 wt. ? is that your experience. Also, I read on Scott Summers website that a few earlier BRP's experienced some early corrosion of a part [i forget which] inside the tube.

i just need a guide or tips or something on how to do all this. ready to get crackin'.

Download the service manual here:Honda Service Manual I went with Bruces reccomendation of 2.5 wt oil from his site:Bruce's Fork Page. I found the 2.5 wt oil to be much better (Thanks Bruce!! :applause: ).
