I have an 03 WR450 with a Baja designs street legal kit and a white brothers exaust. Bike is in excellent condition with low hours on her.
What would be a fair price to sell her for? Friend offerend me 4,500 for it.
Dont want to sell it but I have to sell one of my bikes and I cant seem to sell my Yamaha Roadstar warrior and a friend wants my 450 even though I told him it was not for sale.
Offered me 4,500 and I told him I would think it over.
What do you guys think?

How good of a friend is he? First of all, that sounds like a good deal for you, it's a bit high but given you have it dual sported it sounds fair enough. My concern comes with selling an off road bike to a friend, it can end up ruining a friendship..........

If he's not a great friend, jump all over it. $4500 is unbelievable. If he's a good friend, give it to him for $4000 and you're still doing good for yourself.
I got mine in excellent condition for $3500 at the beginning of this season.

I agree. If he offered $4,500 for it, let him have it for $4,000. It's still more than the bike is probably worth on the open market, and he will feel like you helped him out.

thank you guys, I figured it was a good price.
Trouble is I dont want to sell her at all. I am trying to sell my Yamaha Roadstar warrior. I just bought a new house north of New Orleans ( Thank you Lord for getting me out of there). I spent more money than i wanted to and I need a fence for my dogs and selling one of my 5 bikes was the best way to get the money.

Post the Roadstar warrior on e-bay! Many bikes get sold that way. :applause:

With the number of dirtbikes you have, don't worry about it! Sell the 450 for 4 or 4.5K (whatever you choose) and buy another one down the road when things are better. You still have the other bikes to ride.
