http://share.shutter...d=2EcOGTNuzYutg I already accomplished my first mod. I relocated the breather tube. I re routed it through the center of the frame, down where the other carb tubes go, and out the bottom right side of the frame. I also relocated the rubber mounts for tube, and looks killer. I hate the way they route the tube along the left side of frame. It gets in the way of the new frame work! Now it looks killer and it's still fully functional. I will post a pic of the mod later.

The link works for me.
Nevermind the mod, let's hear a ride report! What's it like? How does it compare to the '03-'05? How smooth is the motor?

What I see is a 06 Yamaha. Are you telling me this is a 450? I can't tell.

Look at the sticker on the rear fender. It's pretty small but it looks like it says YZ450 to me

so your saying you can't tell the two bikes apart? Look at motor size, motor placement/ angle, and muffler size. May not wanna swing a leg over one then....well not unless you have life insurance..

Pardon me if I am not anal enough to be able to tell the difference between a 250 and a 450 from the motor placement angle. I couldn't see if it said 450 or 250! Ive got one of each and I still can't tell. And what exactly do you mean by may not want to swing a leg over one??

Can you add pictures of the mod you did? Did they change the breather tube to go into the airbox like on the 2005 CRF's? Where one goes in the air box and it Y's to a tube tha tyou are suppoesd to drain every 2 rides? If so that would definitely be a good thing to mod.

Just saw in two different threads that you did not believe it was or could not tell it was a 450.....kinda scary. :applause:

Yeah, the motor is almost on the vertical. I love the fact that they integrated the sump into the front of the engine.
