Does anyone know if they make a dual sport kit that uses a rechargeable batterypack, or if you can get a battery and just use a regulator/rectifier to keep it going. I know very little on this subject! :applause:

TIA, Shane

Check out Baja Designs, I have their system on my xr 400 and love it. It has a small 8AA cell rechargeable battery pack that keeps the light output steady and lets you use the lights for a short period of time with the bike not running.

The Dakar kit has one as well. If you want a sweet deal on a like new YZ kit, send me a PM.

You might want to get a charging coil for your bike too. I have a small 12volt motorcycle battery in my airbox and I used a reg/rectifier off a WR450.
