01 & up YZ Front Master Cylinder on a 99 YZ400?

Has anyone done this before? Is there any other parts that need to be changed out to make it work? :applause:

Yes. The switch is simple. Just bolt the new one on. Personally I like the feel of a Honda CR mastercylinder better than a newer yz. No matter really, ebay has them all for cheap. Obviously the levers are different. Its a decent upgrade.

Yes, I have done this too many 400s at work. All you need is the master cylinder off a 02+ yz or kx they are all the same. You lose the stupid adjuster and can really dial in the adjustment with the 02+
