Do a search on the BK mod.
Short version: BK is for Brian Kinney, Tim Ferry's mechanic. He posted here about an accelerator pump mod for Ferry's race bike, and we collectively figured out how to replicate it. The mod consisits of drilling and tapping the external carb body for a spring-loaded screw to limit the travel of the accelerator pump.

Hope this helps.
