"race" motor mounts??

well i have seen these quite often advertised on ebay

carbon fiber "race" front motor mounts

anyone have any experience or know of any possible benefit from these other than maybe a few oz.s of weight

Just the weight loss, however small that is. The downside is that the motor mount bolts will have to be kept tight to prevent the elongation of the bolt holes by the engine vibration. For $60, I'd pass.

I would keep my stock ones.....I see no value in CF for this except breakage...
