i think there is one powered by a crf450f motor. i believe i saw it on a street bike video. it was very fast lol

Geesh that thing is a beauty. I've seen a bunch of 250 Superkarts and that one is very, very sweet...

Just curious, does the engine suffer any oil supply issues due to the engine staying upright all the time ?

No oiling problems other than out the breathers. Remember, the Yamaha is a dry sump system. We had Peterson Fluid Systems design at special tank to separate the air in oil that dry sump systems induce, but since only the cams have plain bearings this was probably overkill (the tank does the job it was designed to do).

The Honda's in our series do not have dry sumps, but I am not aware of oiling problems with them.
