I bought a bike via internet/ phone in Delta Utah and need it shipped to Boise. Anybody have any ideas? I used the search thread and found that forward air is the most popular. The problem is that from what I can tell there is no close pick up or drop off points. Has anybody used any freight companies like motor cargo? I tried to get a quote on line but couldn't figure out the freight class,

Any ideas

Thanks

$150 bucks to get it yourself is probley the best way to get your bike. Call up your best friend and "ROAD TRIP" :goofy: . Last summer I picked up a GS500 for my sisiter in Great Falls MT. Just a fluke they had the bike she was looking for and good price. I had a small amount of time to stay in GF so money wise shipping was the best option. They (suzuki dealer)could ship it to Spokane for 100 bucks or Kent ,WA for $125. Kent,WA. was a major shipping location site for bikes. So thats what I did. I couldn't find the name sorry. Looking at the map Delta has no major motorcycle dealers. If you have dealer you like in Boise. Call them up and see who they use and how close to Delta they can get. Then make a deal with the seller to drop it off at a local dealer for it to be crated and picked up. Good luck

Youre a little too early for any snowboarding but it would still be a cool road trip. I did it to pick up an enclosed trailer with a buddy and we stopped all along the way to go snowboarding in places that you only read about in the mags, it was cool!

Maybe the seller will meet you half way?
