I am looking for a used stabilizer for my 650r to save a few bucks and found lots on ebay, but i am kind of curious as to what the difference is between the on and off road stabilizers as they look identical :banghead:

From what I'm told, the on road stabilizers dampen in both directions from the center outward.

The off road ones only dampen outward from the center. E.g. if you are at right full lock and swing to left full lock, you won't get any dampening until you hit center

I could have this backwards, though.
