House Republican listening tour coming to eastern part of state.
Town hall style meetings to be held in Yakima, Spokane and Pasco next week.
House Republicans are traveling around the state on a listening tour and will be stopping in Yakima, Spokane and Pasco next week. Prior events have been held in Renton, Burlington and Ridgefield.
The upcoming town hall style meetings will focus on the public’s concerns and ideas for the 2006 legislative session.
“This listening tour is exactly that – listening to and reaching out to people. We’re looking forward to hearing from people from all parts of the state,” said House Republican Leader Richard DeBolt, R-Chehalis. “So often we have people come visit us in district or in Olympia during session. This is a way to reciprocate those efforts and meet with people in their own areas.”
