G'day, ive just installed a new hinson clutch basket
now im about to put it back together but have a querey about the thrust washer
its the one that goes in front of the basket and behind the hub
is it suppose to spin freely on the shaft and then engage onto the spline somehow?
when i put it on, it slides all the way past the splines, im not sure whether this is correct?
can someone confirm?
cheers - Brett

You are doing it correctly. The washer slides past the splines.
