Dual to single carb swap

After looking at the Honda Fisches, it looks like I can grab the intake manifold and air boot to the air box from an 88-92 and it becomes a bolt on affair...Seems too easy..somebody tell me why it wont work...

Anybody know if an FCR-MX will fit in that 88-92 intake manifold?

I've been told you need to switch the head also.

I know the 93 and up heads only have one intake inlet. But the 88-92 has two inlets and the manifolds in the picture look like they're the same pattern...

guess I'll just have to watch craigslist and ebay...
