Smoke

Right when i start my 02 wr426f there is some dark smoke coming out of the exhaust, after it runs and warms up it goes away, would this just mean it is rich and when it is cold it this not burning all the fuel? Oil makes white smoke, am i right? Or could this be oil burning?

Are you sure it's not carbon from the can?

I thought oil made a blue smoke, water makes white?

I think your right about the water being white and oil being a blue colored. i am going to have to ask you what this "can" is you speak of.

If it's just 2 or 3 puffs of dark smoke (blackish) it's probly just carbon no big deal.
