I have a question. This probobaly has been answered, but after changin my seat I noticed an open connector with two wires going to it, I cant find another connector to plug it into. The wires are red with tracer and green with tracer. I checked the service manual and traced the wires, I'm no electrician but its saying that the red is going to the cdi unit and back out. Is this an acess.connector, or does it plug into something, all lights, blinkers, etc are working fine. Any help would be appreciated, thanx,

Thanks for the reply, Brian, you must be on here as much as me. I think I found it. Referred to the manuel again after your reply, seems as though certain overseas models use a different setup with the neutral switch, where they use a connection for the red and green wires and a resistor. Hope this helps anybody else,

There are quite a few "unused" plugs on mine. About 3 under the seat in
front of the air box and a few more under the speedo.
Mine is stock and there is nothing missing so I guess it's okay.
I also thought that the one hooked to the CDI unit was for the Trottle
position switch... go figure.

Mine has several non-used plug ends as well. I was thinking about checking voltages and switching to see if some could be used for accessories.
