So a friend of mine was talking to Chad Reed in the pits at Vegas and he told him that he was riding the YZF450 in SX next year. He said it was nothing like his '05 National bike, and bone stock could compare to his works bike. That should be interesting!

On another note, some new exhausts were spotted, most noticably a type of "shorty" muffler on the thumpers that barely stuck out from the side plate and were way fatter than usual. . .

Should be interesting next year to see who races the 4-S in SX.

Maybe it's a "real" muffler, on the order of a Flowmaster. If done right, that approach would probably be better than the current "glasspack".
