Trick has some very faithful fans on these forums. Most Baja and Dakar usually get bashed by folks that don't even own one. I believe they are all ok. Some have features others don't. Some are more expensive. I have a Baja and it works fine and I was pleased with the quality and service. It was and in stock locally. Dakar had stuff I didn't feel I needed. Trick was going to be over $100 more. If I had a new bike I might have gone with Trick but I don't plan on keeping this bike long so price was my main issue.

I have the Trick Dualsport kit on my 03 WR450. I have had it almost 4000 miles worth. The only problem was caused by me, not Dale. I have had him upgrade it to the new electrics and now it is even better yet. Sorry but I have not had either of the other two kits. I had a DRIVEN KIT from Dual Sport Connection. It was such a pile compared to the Trick Dualsport kit that there was NO comparison. It was on a WR 400. Trick Dualsport is the only way to go.

Dale's a good guy with a nice product... What I like most about his kits is that the kit itself is small and light... Not your average heavy box with old technology. Between my brother, father and I we've owned a few kits from Dale... They've been great... Customer service is second to none.

Funny, the internet has hurt some companies like Chaparral by customers lashing out at their customer service online, but the opposite has happened to Dale, when you're for real and treat your customers right you will win in the end..

I can remember Thumpertalk getting a Trick dualsport kit for review but I haven't seen any write up on it.... Anyone know what happened to it??

There's not a lot of detailed info on the Trick website -- does the Trick kit incorporate a high beam indicator?

Yes it does. Also a day/night switch and turn signal indicator. This is the 3rd season with my kit and it hasn't failed me yet. I only wish it had a little better quality mounting system than the huge wire ties. The rubber is starting to get cracked and narly looking and it slides down my forks so I have to reposition it once and awhile. The customer service is second to none though.

I have the Trick Dual Sport kit and although it is a really tight and reliable package the lighting is pretty weak. Dale told me that it is just enough to get back to the truck and he was right. Don't count on any night riding at speed with this kit. Aside from that it works super good.

Due to the two power source design of our WR450's, I had to split the headlight out of my 2003 Trickdualsport kit (12VDC) and run it on the 12VAC circuit. Now I can run all night.

Dale was working on a modification to take care of this a while ago. The latest kit is probably set up for it.

Otherwise, the kit has performed flawlessly. :banghead:
