Steering stabilizers

Just wondering what brand everyone prefers on their XR 600. Do they make a huge difference? How do they work in soft sand/gravel? My only experience with them is on sportbikes, and I had them on the lightest setting. (My GSXR's weren't prone to tank-slappers.) Is it worth the investment?

just do a 'Search' here in the forum, it has been covered in depth ... generally, everybody favors the SCOTTS by a wide margin
