I am looking into purchasing a 2003 YZ450F, I don't know what is a fair price for one. I found one that looks like it is a good deal at $2400. The guy told me it has been raced and he actually got hurt on it. He said it has bent handlebars but thinks that is it. What do you guys think? I don't really plan on racing but need another dirt bike, I recently sold a WR426. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Go here and look up what the selling price is and then you can make a decision if the price is good or not.

Without seeing the bike, hearing it run, checking out the bearings, etc. it will be hard for anyone here to tell you if it's worth it or not.

Assuming the bike is in decent condition and sound mechanically, except for the bent bars, $2400 sounds like a great price for an '03.

They are averaging around $3000 right now.
