Go to the technical section on the opening page. Then click on How To Remove The Octopus by Clark Mason, very good description of how the needles stack up. DVP is way leaner than a DTM.

the dvp in clip 4 & the dtm in clip 3 are the same on the taper. the only difference would be at tickover where the 'P' is very slightly leaner than the 'M'.
