Can u use the wiring harness/battery from a 650L on a 650R?

I'm trying to get all the parts to make my bike fully legal, Can i use these items for my 650R so i can power the brake/tail light, and headlight high/low beams etc...?

I was wondering the same thing the other day. The L has a really nice speedo assy and it would be nice to incorporate the high beam and blinker indicators.

I don't see why i couldn't use it, but i want to know if i need the Rectifier, coil and the other components from the L to make it work right.... Anyone know for sure?
