Can someone tell me what size needle valve is stock on an 03 yz450? Mine is a 3.8 and that seems huge!

Thanks

Nobody has an answer? Help. I been having some tuning issues since I bought my bike and think this might be it.

The OEM float seat size is 3.8. Whatever issues you are having, that isn't the problem. The float level might be, but not the size of the needle valve seat. The needle referred to by carb tuners is the one in the throttle slide.

Hey thanks for the reply grayracer. I always thought that if you had too large a needle and seat that it could cause tuning problems due to too much fuel flow into the bowl?
