im building a hybrid quad and im looking for a engine to buy or build

does anyone know if any yz fourstroke bottom ends are compatible with others?

i know yz's/and wr's are pretty close, but what about other engines

Don't use a YZ450 crank if you plan on having the electric start.

The left crank axle is different on the WR to accommodate the larger flywheel and the starter drive mechanism.
