Im a new Wr owner, I have a 2002 WR426. It came with a white bros exhaust and was re-jetted. What free mods are available and how do I check to see if they were already done? The local Yammie dealers service guy wasnt any help, and the guy I bought it from was clueless cause he was the second owner. What does the gray/blue wire have to due with starting/spark?
I live in Florida at sea level and its always hot! I ride in the woods with trails and also wide open power line areas and i dont race if that helps with mod selection. Thank you guys for helping me get this bike "set up" for me... :D Jeff Reeves

Also check out this site http://motoman393.thumpertalk.com/ It's for a YZ but a lot of it applies to the WR too. Even has the shop manual. The mod it doesn't cover is the "gray wire" (because the yz didn't have one) at about 1/2 throttle the timing is retarded and if you disconnect the wire it will pull harder. :D
