I just checked my valves today after about 60 hours on my bike, they havent moved at all, isnt that a bummer? i love my bike
Ive got 120+ hours on the CRF...valves havent moved either. Not since brand new have they needed an adjustment.
I wasted some of my life reading this thread, and for the most part the Yamaha
guys are ok....but that Jetsprint guy has some issues...latent homosexuality comes to mind....when he thinks he'll loosing an arguement he starts yelling fag....gotta make you wonder ya know?
I can say this, I had a hell of a lot more problems with my YZF than I have with my CRF.
I loved that YZF...sold it to a guy I know just so I could keep track of it though...
The amount of CRF's with receding intake valves is a relatively small percentage when taken in the context of the number of bikes that have been sold.
The CRF450R has been the number one selling full sized dirt bike world wide since it was introduced.
Second only to the CRF50...As a side note, they sell more CRF50s than the entire production of Yamaha
dirt bikes period....
So the entire world basically disagree's with the majority of this thread. Personally I dont really care, but its fun to point out
