Look at what the Honda guys are having to deal with in their forum.

Wow....and someone mentioned that CRF guys whine and moan. Hmmm. I don't ever recall a thread bashing another brand on the Honda forums. Maybe we were to busy helping each other and discussing factual information concerning dirtbikes. Yes, I have been on a yamaha before, and why anyone would say they prefer riding a yamaha over a CRF, is beyond me. But, I don't hate yamaha's, nor will I bash them. It is becoming apparent that it is just some of the yamaha OWNERS that I don't particularly care for. It seems that owners of bikes that deep down, really feel that their bike may be a bit inferior, always have to start and fuel these bash threads, just to make themselves feel better. I guess if it makes you feel better, than good. Well, back to the Honda forums for me, so I can bitch about my valve problems. Wait, I forgot, I've never had a valve problem. I guess I'll have to find something to whine about, since I am a CRF owner. Hmmm.....maybe I'll bitch that I can't bitch about having valve problems. Thats it!

I could care less about any problems that arent in my own garage. All I want to know is can I come to Hawaii? Brand bashing on any level sounds ridiculously high school to me. We all have our preferences. I drive a Mustang while Bob Whatshisface drives a Camaro. Who cares! Take it to the track and let the best man and machine win! Seriously Tim, can I come out to Hawaii? Oh yeah, and the YZ and WR forums are just right where they are.

One thing is certain...you will.

BTW..I have never seen a post filled with more back handed compliments in my life. Good thing your not into bashing.....

Does anyone on this forum actually race their bike? Seems alot of people with opinions are the ones who ride their bikes at the local rock quarry once a month and then brag about having no problems.

I will go on record as saying the red bikes handle awesome, have great power and suspension. I will also go on record as saying I witness them self destruct every weekend at the races. If you don't race....you may not be familiar with what I am talking about. Don't get me wrong, all of the bike manufaturers know that people who race will build the bike to last under those conditions ....so they don't have to. I would venture a guess that 75% of the dirt bikes sold never see a starting gate...therefore that is all they have to worry about. The other 25% will replace valves, mod suspension and motors etc like they want them.

I would have to agree. The reason I can't look at a Honda is I have met too many Honda owners who are talkers. If you are not a talker, no matter your bike, great- I like to talk to you and anyone else in our sport. I have met many a smug Honda owner but also some who would do anything to help. Because a guy rides this or that says almost nothing. I do have a chip with the mags though, I admit it. A Honda will darn near always win a Dirt Rider competition if it is anywhere near the pack. It will be called "more fun to ride" or "more easy to control". If it does have a power edge it will be glowingly stated. A lot of mag guys grew up on Honda and will always love them. I ride with a crew that literally has all makes. I am the only Yamaha guy. Know what? No one talks bad about Yamaha based mostly on our friendly competition. My bike does better than fine, I hope to be worthy of it one day. Yammers won't turn with a Honda, Zuke, Kawi? I beg to differ. When I was newer, I thought that. My 426 likes mottocrosser style turning-yep I have to yank the bar and lean the front end down into a sharp corner. I learned to ride. Suspension too stiff, not as comfy? As I have learned to pick up the pace, stiffer is just right. I had a good buddy sell his '03 CRF450. I considered it. After reading the glowing accolades in the mags, I thought it would drive itself. Not so. After riding both, I bought the Yammer, no regrets. I think it's mostly just talk across brands. "Buy this newfangled bike and you will be light years from where you were on your old bike". I have heard it but never seen it. No insult meant to you Jimbo or any driver of any make. My bike does fine against the newest and best from other makes if I do my part. My bike does not make me a giant or midget on Saturday. Practice and focus do. Respectfully, to say Yammer drivers/posters are nasty and Honda drivers are quite, helpfull and polite just doesn't match my experience. Oh yeah, I have made zero fixes-changed tires and oil and made some mods. Good luck all and ride safe.

My bike is a patriotic American loving dirt bike. It's not a galldanged Pinko Commie red Honda with a poorly designed and executed valvetrain built to enhance corporate profiteering by demanding an inordiantely burdensome replacement schedule and thereby enslaving an impoverished proletariat which has led to taking food off of their table and putting thier children into filthy rags for clothing.

Those of you that ride Hondas ought to be ashamed of yourselves. What the hell is wrong with you people? :D

And........?

Ive got 120+ hours on the CRF...valves havent moved either. Not since brand new have they needed an adjustment.

I wasted some of my life reading this thread, and for the most part the Yamaha guys are ok....but that Jetsprint guy has some issues...latent homosexuality comes to mind....when he thinks he'll loosing an arguement he starts yelling fag....gotta make you wonder ya know?

I can say this, I had a hell of a lot more problems with my YZF than I have with my CRF. :D

I loved that YZF...sold it to a guy I know just so I could keep track of it though...

The amount of CRF's with receding intake valves is a relatively small percentage when taken in the context of the number of bikes that have been sold.

The CRF450R has been the number one selling full sized dirt bike world wide since it was introduced.

Second only to the CRF50...As a side note, they sell more CRF50s than the entire production of Yamaha dirt bikes period....

So the entire world basically disagree's with the majority of this thread. Personally I dont really care, but its fun to point out

Hey I did not start out by calling someone that they were gay since they were 5 like CHEEZ13 did. Hey I am straight and what people do on there own time is their own business, I just don't like being accused of something I am not. :D Get it right before you decide to blast someone in a post. :D

Yes, alas I have lowered myself into this ridiculous thread as well. It seems that the above statement is too true. It's so sad when I can get shut down for wanting our forums separated and idiots like JetTurd can go on and on saying derogatory words and names such as "FAG" and stuff, and not even get a warning. This guy has not said a single thing useful to anyone in the "long" 200 or so posts that he's been with TT. . . And the funny thing is I don't even bother to look at what he posts anymore, or this thread. I only came over to see what MC had to say. . .

You are absolutely hopeless, just when I thought you were through you had to go on and create another pathetic post. I do regret blasting the "F" bomb to CHEEZ13, I appologise and it was out of line, but he is the one that accused me of being gay since I was 5. I really don't give a :D what you guys think of me especially you Furry :D . You saying that I have not said a single useful thing to anyone in 200 posts is absolutely wrong, not all of my posts are useful as I am sure yours are not either (I am not going to take the time to look up all of your posts :D ) but there are times I help people out and times that I get useful info as well. You and CHEEZ13 are the only people I have blasted in this forum- I do not like dealing with guys like you and I am done with this. :D Goen riding. :D

Finally something that makes sense, and no drag racing dirtbikes damn Oh yeah JETSHIT I said you were GAY from the age of 5 because of your posts, they made no sense, they sounded like something a kid would say. And quit putting that stupid little censored smile up there it makes you look even more retarded.
