Hi tonydeli, My father was born in Xantia and moved to Turkey when he was 6 years old.

Do u really own all of these bikes at the same time? Really crazy you are.

Irondude, you're right, most of the mediterranean countries will remind you Califormia. I think you know about Turkey, it's good think for me. Because most of the people think that we are Arabian, living in the deserts and riding camels. Also there are camels brought from Arabia for tourists to take a tour :D hehe!

You may see great pics in this website and may be you can come for adventure tours in west coast of Turkey. The guy who owns this tour company is a Dutch who lives in turkey.

Very cool pics.
I've been to Turkey maybe 6-7 times. When i was yound i hitchhiked around Turkey for 2 months...that was in '85...more recently its been for business.

I am not sure what most americans think about Turkey--the educated ones in the cities think it is a nice place, and those without experience overseas might think it has arabs and camels...i dont know--they might also think it is in Canada!

Yes the tours look great. Thanks for that link. I didnt know about yoshimoto. I used to work for a tour company in Baja so for me its very interesting to see.
My friend raced the WRC Anatolia last year---she said it was fantastic. I can only imagine...

My experience is that the turks with bikes are very adventurous--i met 2 in Nairobi 5 years ago--they where riding from Cape Town via Saudi back home--fun guys.

Any other links for Turkish dirt bikes?

ta mum!

hitchhiking, nairobi... really cool!
I send some websites of motobike clubs in turkey. All of them are turkish but if you write in the forum, everybody would help you for a tour in turkey.

www.endurocu.com (means enduro'er) is the site with forums, you can write to the Ziyaretçiler (means guests) section...

www.ikiteker.org - (two wheels motorcycle club) - has about 6000 members.(but on road and offroad - enduro and enduro tourers generally)

www.endurocu.org - personel site of an great man and his ktm adv.

http://www.enduroclub.org

www.emok.org - enduro motorcycle club

i dont know an enduro tour company except yoshimoto. i talked to the owner of the yoshimoto - Sonke Bonde - for a few times on the internet about ktm oem parts etc.
