I have had my 426 for about a year. It runs perfectly but I have one question. I have never changed the spark plug. There has never been a problem so I have never changed it. When should I replace it? Should I wait until I have a problem starting or stalling or what?

as always...preventative maintanence is key. I would replace it just to stay on top of things. I usually replaced my 426 plug about 2-3 times per year. Not necessary probably ....but why wait till it's a problem? :D

I replace the plug on mine 3-4 times a year also. Plugs are relatively cheap. I found that the $5 was worth it after stalling in the woods when it's 95 degrees and trying to kick over an old plug for 15 minutes.
