On this used 03' yz450 I bought, the renthal chain has o-rings that look dried and cracked. The whole chain looks dry and probably hasnt seen a good oiling lately. Can I bring the o-rings and chain back to life or is this chain shot to hell?

judging a chain by when the links start to kink is not a good thing. My Regina O-Ring (Renthal) kinked the links when new...and then when broken in it was fine.

If you can see the o-rings are cracked...go ahead and replace it.
