What is the little black canister lookin thing that is attached to the frame and has a hose comin out of the top of it. I have no clue what it is or what it does and nothing i have read has anything about it.

Charcoal canister it rids the world of toxic fumes, part of the emmissions crap. Just like the big coffee can looking one on cars.
