Can anyone tell me where I can get a replacement throttle tube for an XR650 equipped with an Edelbrock carb. I tried calling Barnums (it's where I bought the carb) but they are closed for the month of July :applause:
TIA :eek:

Thats a Motion Pro throttle assembly.

You can order replacement sleeves right from their webpage.

Thanks for the tip but I couldn't find the proper application on the Motion Pro web site?

A sticking throttle on a BRP can be a scarry experience :applause:

After some more digging I came up with the Motion Pro part numbers;
Complete throttle assembly #01-0073, $29.10
Throttle tube only #01-0090, $5.00

BTW Edelbrock wanted $44.95 for the complete assembly, they won't sell the throttle tube seperatly. Nothing like making a little profit!

Well, here is a link to the store for the tube, throttle tube , the Edelbrock kit uses the stock throttle and the motion pro part # you had was for an aftermarket throttle of theirs (motion pro), thats why it is cheaper than the stock replacement from them.
