Electric Start Problem On 05 Wr450f

I Have A 05 Wr450f,you Can Only Start It In Neutrel,even If Its In Gear With The Clutch In It Wont Turn Over I Think This Must Be New For 05 Models,but Its A Real Pain.does Anyone No How To Disable This.thanks In Advance Jason

Close, It should start in neutral with or without the clutch engaged. However, it should start in any gear WITH the clutch engaged. Check the wires going to the clutch lever and at the connector post behind the headlight! :applause:

Hi It Does Start In Neutrel Without The Clutch,but In Gear With Clutch In Nothing.it Does Have A Quote In The Manual Called The Starting Circuit Cut Off System,so It Has Been Designed To Do This.thanks Jason

Hi Sorted It,the Connector Behind The Headlight Was Not Connected,i Have Only Had It A Few Weeks They Must Of Forgotton To Connect It.thanks :applause: :eek:
