I have a 98' YZ400F that has a 00' WR head. The cams came with the WR head when I purchased it. I also have the YZ cams. I am at the point of putting the cams back in the motor. Now the question is which to use? I've heard that the YZ cams are better to use. What I am wondering is can I use either one or will the YZ cam have valve clearance issues? :)

As far as I know, all YZF/WRF 400/426 cams are the same actual cam shafts, only difference is the cam timing. YZF timing is one tooth different to WRF timing. Go to Motoman's page and check out the tech' articles. It will explain how to change to YZ timing. :)
