I'm looking for a lift stand that has a way of locking when in the up-position.

You mean like with a lock? You could devise a way to run a lock through most of the ones I've seen, but I'm not sure why you would want to. It won't keep anyone from grabbing the bike off the stand, for instance, except your kid, maybe.

I have 2 brand new ones sitting in boxes in my garage.

Both have locking pins, and shock suports on them to make the lowering of the bike gentel.

$70 each.

The Craftsman motorcycle stand/jack has a locking bar for the raised position.

Thanks for the replies. I have a 2yo son who likes to help me wash and work on my yz450. Actually he likes to bang on it with wrenches. I'm worried about him dropping the stand down accidentally. Brian I'll check out the TT store. Thanks ya'll.
