well maybe you should leave NT and go to Melbourne, then it would be useful to you

and I find TT a shit load slower than DBW, as well as there being more wankers here than there (but I figure thats because of higher membership)

Definately! But who would want to live in Melbourne???
I got lush bushland in front of my house! I can ride my bike to work then ride the trails through the bush on the way home! How many people can do that?
I don't have to worry about noise and hippies, cops here ride dirtbikes too and aren't wankers :bonk: , we have 4 rivers, about 10 different beaches, numerous creeks all within 50kms of my front door. Most of these spots are only reachable by motorbike. Now why should I move again?

I have to beg to differ mate-it really shites me how TT posts wont change during the day due to out time difference with the US but posts keep poping up at DBW during the day

There is always some people here at 1 in the morning, there is dozens of new threads here a day, not just a post or two. I use the time like right now to read all the wonderful new threads!

not sure which areas you are looking at that dont move?

Try the Yamaha forum for one, plus it is only a single forum, not split into wr450's, yz450, wr/yz250's, 2 strokes..... If it was, it really wouldn't move then hey!

Any questions you have, just use the search feature as it has probably already been covered.
Hours and hours of reading to be done.

There is very good technical info here for upgrading too. This place rocks!

welcome aboard. lots of handy stuff and plenty of people willing to help.
matty knows these bikes inside out so if you need more power, let him know, and there is only another 85000+ members to ask as well.
I think almost every question regarding wr's has been asked, so search posts and if you dont get your answer, try wording your question differently, then ask.
avoid politics , women and religion and you'll be ok.

and matty, i think the tt vs dbw thing is as fair as comparing a farm quad and a wr. its horses for courses. tt is everywhere there is a dirt bike and internet access, dbw is for 'locals', like the difference between your local pub and a casino in melbourne. both have their place. actually some people on dbw might think i know what i'm talking about... TT(copy) - dbw (paste) = genius

maybe dbw would be an ideal environment to encourage a few blokes to contact you to show them around up there, i know that after your desciption, i'd like a look around there
anyway when i'm in NT i'm coming riding.

Always welcome, I can always hook up a bike or 2 for anyone.
You can stay at my place for free, any time.

I have a few American guys interested at the moment! Just organising time off and fishing trips (best fishing in Australia too!!!) and camping stuff.

I might have to get some photo's around the place, it is hard to really believe the places I have access to. It is truley heaven, and there is no one else around, and never ever will be either.

I still want to see Tassie, that place is wild! I want to go see the targa Tasmania one day, awesome awesome stuff!

yeah Targa Tasmania starts this week, starting to see race cars around the streets a bit. 250(approx) cars and a 2000km course (i think) Go (sir) Jim Richards.
