Yeah i know :busted:  There are a few corners I do that in.  I cant seem to break my MX habits but im working on it.  That was only my 2nd track day.  Ive got another one on the 27th(weather permitting) and im going to focus a lot more on style.  If anything i need to wear out my boots evenly:banana:

So you are saying i should slide forward on the seat or lean forward more? or both?  Here is an image from my first track day.  I had my foot farther back.

at the end of the 2nd track day i was working on keeping my feet on the pegs a lot longer and i think that helped keep me from sticking my leg way into the turn like i do on dirt.  Any advice is welcome and appreciated cause i know my style of riding is different than the norm.:busted:

you must put ever your ass a little forward in our part of track. a tips is put a piece of rope with american tape on your seat, when you feel the rope behind your ass you stop and put it forward.for your feet. it s difficult but , under braking the feet  must be on pegs and legs tighten the frame and address the bike on corner.if you pull out the feet you loose a part of control the bike can go down over control in sliding.pull out the leg when you are in ultimate meter of brake. if you want other tips write on my treath

I dont know what a treath is but thanks for the tips!  Im afraid that sliding forward any more wont leave enough room for my knee when i lean the bike over.  Im 6'3 and the geometry of the drz is a little cramped.  I have another triple clamp coming to move my bars forward a bit which should help.  Also the weight bias of a drz is about 55% on the front.  I am not sure how a MX converted bike stacks up to that.

yeah you can become 'lost' on the seat sometimes if you don't have anything to feel where you are on it.

i have a sdg stepped seat on my racebike, that way i know exactly where i'm putting my bum on the seat.

I think you would really enjoy my Beta 520RS-sm . I'm 6'1" and it fits just right. If I were going to track it, I would lower it of course.

Not the best pic. I haven't had a chance to set the suspension up and take it to a track yet. There isn't anything around here (Chattanooga, TN).

I like the colors:)  Super clean bike.  I could be wrong but your coolant overflow looks a little dark/sludgy.  How many miles on that coolant?

Hi. Cheers for the comments. Not sure how many miles on the coolant.. I've only had the bike 3 months! Done an oil/filter change last week. The previous owner kept it pretty clean by the looks of it. A few bits that aren't up to my standards! But I'm gradually getting through the little bits! The first mot is due in December so I'll get them to check the coolant out.:busted:
