I have been away from the sport for @ 10 years and I want to buy a new 2000 WR400 from a local East Coast dealership.

I just spoke with an uninformed salesperson, who couldn't find the asking price after looking for a while, that they wanted MSRP for the bike.

What is a fair price for a new 2000 WR400?

Thanks, MacLeod

Run as fast as you can. I bought my 99 in November of 99 for $1000 below MSRP. I saw a 2000 for sale here, with 150 miles on it for $4700. Since the 2001's are 426's he should have to deal. That's probably why it's still in his shop.
