when you change the oil on the CRF 50 do you drain both plugs on bottom, and what is capacity to refill oil?

right only. 650-700ml, lean the bike and pick up the front tire to drain the oil out the head.

I think the plug on the left side you are referring to is the cam chain tensioner plug. You DO NOT want to pull that one out to drain the oil.

Drain the oil from the larger plug on the bottom. As far as raising the bike up to empty the head :) I will have to try that one!

That's correct. I just did my son's crf 50 a few days ago. It's the larger of the two plugs. I think its a 1/2 inch socket. When you fill with oil, stop once in a while and check the level with the little dip stick, so you know its not over filled. :)

17mm, no standard bolts on the 50 :)

i try to do a complete drain on my bike, get as much dirty oil out as possible. 650ml will be center of the dipstick if you do it this way and 700 will be up to the top of the xhatch. to get an accurate measurement start the bike after you change the oil, idle for 30 seconds, shutoff and check the level again.
