hey all, Im about to put my wr400 back together, it´s been apart covered by plastic for about a month. I would like to clean the top end parts of any small quantities of dust that might be there. Is there anything wrong with just blasting it off really well with some carb cleaner spray, and washing any dust down the oil return passages into the crankcase? then of course just change the oil? the spray will not hurt anything?

shouldnt be a problem. I use petrol in a squirty bottle for parts cleaning purposes.
