Whatcha think would be better for a 04 WR450? why? needs to be spark arrested and meet the 96 db limit of the great state of california. ?

The E-2 is cool looking and it seemed like it weighed less than the Q2 when I checked them out at the shop the other day

My buddy has the E2 on his 04 450, I am not too impressed. You cant run "uncorked" with a spark arrestor. The spark arrestor is very restrictive on power. Its very little improvement over stock, and less adaptable. The Q2 seems pretty awesome on my uncles 426.

I have a Q1 with a SX power bomb header. It's hands down way better than the E2 I had before.

Everyone that rides it comments on how fast it is. I liked the pipe so much I bought one for my 250.

The Q2 is brand new for 05 they just poped out the 4.1 carbon and 4.1 titanium and also the titanium Q for 05 there is no hybrid of the Q2 coming out this year

I bought a pro moto insert for my '05 450 and it is only seventy bucks. I did also hear about the Q2 and it will cost $360.

im not trying to throw the topic off but the power core 4 and quiet insert works pretty well, i just previously picked up the quiet insert. but i love riding it with no insert, it sounds bad a$$!

? I just put the E-2 on my bike it still has plenty of power I wanted to race it cross country series so I tried it it works great.

I just swich to the titanum Q from a factory 4 and there was no drop in power just cash F*~$ing sound tests and now shes blows a 93 db on my 05 WR450

I was looking at a FMF Q2 for my girly's WR250, I rung around a few shops

and I was alarmed to hear about all of them say they don't carry FMF because of

too many warranty issues.

I ended up getting her a GYTR Propower exhaust system. It is 98db but they have

a 94db version if people are worried about noise. I am not worried about noise (hence the procircuit on my bike).

I scored a new "scratch and dent" e2 off of ebay for $137 shipped. Just got it today...no scratches OR dents...but some adhesive residue (maybe from price tags??) that easily scrubbed off.

I put it on and putted around the neighborhood. My initial impression is that it is VERY quiet with low RPM putting....

But the sound jumps to life when you stab the throttle. nice thoaty sound. The bike seemed to idle nicely...and low end response is crisp. (I had rejetted slightly rich in preparation for the arrival of the pipe.)

I think it is a very nice pipe. significantly lighter than the stock WR pipe, but not as light as the stock YZ pipe (at least that is how it seemed, no scales involved).

I took the screen out tonight, and ill try running it tomorrow without it..was too late tonight to make a bunch of racket.

What about the BIG GUN EVO X, how does that work? I saw it meets 94 db limits and its like $400 for a whole system in rocky mountain. I think it looks cool too, the header is ceramic coated and endcap anodized.
