I would like to know if anyone has a set of hot cams with a wiseco high compression piston in their wr/yz 450? I've got the hot cams and would like to know if there are clearance issues with adding the high compression piston.

Hot Cams recommends doing a clay test for piston to cylinder clearence when running hi compression pistons and their 426 cams. I would expect they would have similar advice for the 450, and I would expect it's because they have seen a problem here and there, depending on tollerance build ups.

They are a very helpful shop. I would suggest calling them and asking what jkind of issues they've seen on the four-fiddies.
