Could Irondude have been spewing the truth:

Not enough replacement parts to go around.

I wonder what "popular" bike the are talking about?

at the beginning of this year i have finally got a line on aftermarket valves for these things stainless steel valves anyway from ferrea they have them for the 250 i think 400,450 600,650
i havent seen the springs yet though or retainers
not sure if you could use the springs and retainers for these or not anybody want to test this out
