CDI Y2K or Upgrade??

Has anyone with a 2001 yz 426 had problem with there CDI. Mine just decided one day to bring the rev limiter to low rpms 5th grear. what can i do, or have to do? Is there a fix with out paying big $

Try disconnecting the neutral switch, sounds defective.

Is that the light blue wire? I already did that mod.
should i buy a new cdi? (Dyno max) and just get rid if the problem all together?
