03 cam in 02 426?

what parts do u need to make a 426 have auto decompression? is there a kit that u can buy?

I bought mine from Hot Cams. All you should need is the cam, shims, and get yourself a TT plug.

All you need is the '03/'04 cam, plus any shims required. A lot of people just use the Yamaha OEM cam instead of the Hot Cams part and have excellent results with it.

Timing is different, though. In brief, you time the intake correctly, and then set the exhaust so that there are 14 chain pins between the two 12:00 marks on the two cams. The mark on the exhaust cam doesn't line up with the head casting properly because it was made to be used in a different head.
