Hi I just got a after market tail light from XRS only for my 2005 XR650L.Well now that it is on my bike I got to mount my plate to my back fender. Can I bend my plate around my fender so it fits?Mount it striate on? Will the plate crack from sacking around off road? thanks

It'll eventually crack over time. Best way is to mount a base plate on the fender first isolating it with rubber grommets and then mount the license plate on the base plate. It's how I did mine and it's worked well for a long time now with no cracks in the rear fender and no signs of metal fatigue.

four strokes only has a rubber plate isolator.Of course you coud probably find one or make one out of scrap rubber from where ever. But yes the plate will crack.
