has anybody ever had a 72 pilot jet in their carb???( I know this isnt the jetting forum) i found one in mine and as far as i know ive never heard of such a thing, :) doesnt everyone has 42-50 pilot jets? BTW my main was a stock 165. I only found it because the weather changed alot (hotter) and spark arrestor went in, then bike ran like a dog so i decided to check the carb out.

I'll bet you a new spark plug your PJ that you found is a 42 and the "-" portion of the four didn't fully engrave. Some of my jets have what are faux looking numbers too from being worn.

I don't even think you could get the bike running if it were a 72 or that they even make such a thing.
