DR J, is it possible to run an 5jg-14916-et instead of an ekp needle when changing to yz-timing on a 2000 wr4?
My mate has been given one instead of an EKP as a replacement wont get here soon enough and we want to go riding this week-end, many thanks Neil.

splint,

Yes, but the question is what clip will be best to use. The needle has a very large straight diameter which will be lean at 1/8 throttle. Suggest you use clip #5 to compensate. Second choice is clip #4.

There is a risk it will hesitate from idle or run rich at 1/4-3/8. Have a few tools along to adjust the pilot screw or in the worst case change the plug and have to move the clip to #4.

James
